Black cats are the original spooky season icons. They're known as witches' familiars, omens of both good and bad luck (only the good luck one is true, though), and more than any other color of cat, they're the best at surprising you by being able to blend in to any environment during nighttime - making their sudden appearances pawsitively scary! And, we can't furget the fact that they look absolutely awwdorable dressed up as beautiful bats or whiskery wizards. We can't say we're true internet-savvy feline fanatics without sharing at list one post full of spooky black cats, so here is the first of many.

But this isn't just any old article of black cats being the purrfect meowscots for Halloween - these cats are really channeling their inner hairy Halloween havoc. They've impurrsonated some of Halloween's most famous villains: Dracula, Freddy Krueger, and even those creepy twins from The Shining. If you're in the mewd for a little bit of fright mixed with the purrfectly cute demeanor of black cats, you're in the right place.
